While currently expanding in the restaurant and entertainment industry, Downtown Dayton is also growing its living options for those who are moving into the city. The Graphic Arts Lofts, located on S Ludlow St. and close to Fire Blocks District, offers 20 luxury apartment units that include modern designs within a historic building.
Redeveloped in 2020, these apartments reside in a National Historic Landmark. The building was listed on the National Register in 2009 for its architecture and past role in the local community. Originally, the structure was built to withhold the weight of printing machinery, as it was home to a publishing company. With a mixture of concrete, brick, glass and limestone, the building continues to hold its history while marble was intertwined within each unit to add a present twist.
The renovation that took place followed historic preservation guidelines and maintained the original outside architecture that had been present for many years. The five story building has a great view of the Fire Blocks District, as well as the different buildings within the city. Within each unit, there are a multitude of great amenities that make the living hard to beat.
With tile and vinyl floors and granite countertops, each apartment is made with high quality materials that can withstand tough conditions. Additional appliance features include an in unit washer and dryer, dishwasher and walk in closets that make the space convenient and spacious. With 7 floor plans to choose from, you can pick the layout that best suits you.
To make living easier, pets are allowed at an additional deposit. Other extra fees include parking, as there is a surface lot that offers unassigned spots for your convenience. Leases are offered at lengths in between 12 and 24 months, depending on your needs. To learn more about Graphic Arts Lofts or check availability, click here.
